Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. You must be a U.S. resident. The Service is offered for use within the United States, where lawful. You must provide accurate account information, control the email address you use, and keep your credentials secure. You may not impersonate another person or evade account restrictions.

You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify us of suspected unauthorized use. We may require verification or restrict access to protect the Service. Eligibility declarations are not a representation that we independently verify every user’s age or location.

2. Service changes and availability

Features, rules, data and availability may change. Bugs, interruptions, delayed updates, incorrect results and data loss are possible. We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue features or the Service, and may correct, reset or remove accounts, contests, points and records when reasonably needed for maintenance, security, integrity, legal requirements or administration.

We do not promise continuous availability, any particular release date, feature, compatibility, support level, preservation of data or continued operation. Keep copies of information important to you. Any notice, refund or other obligation required by applicable law remains unaffected.

3. Free entry and digital trophies

The current Service provides free-entry MMA fantasy contests for league members. Fantasy scores measure performance, displayed fighter salaries constrain lineups, and digital trophies recognize published finishing places. These are game mechanics, not money, deposits, property or a financial entitlement. Digital trophies and historical league points cannot be purchased from us or redeemed with us for cash, goods or services. They may be corrected, reset or removed and have no guaranteed availability or value.

You may not use the Service to organize or facilitate real-money wagers, paid entries, cash or other real-world prizes, or transfers or sales of accounts or points. We do not administer, authorize or guarantee private side bets or arrangements between users. No contest or result creates a right to payment from us.

Statistics, odds, projections and other content are informational entertainment, not betting, financial, legal or other professional advice. They do not guarantee outcomes. Do not rely on them for a financial decision.

4. Leagues, rules and results

Contest settings and the scoring guide describe the applicable game mechanics. Commissioners administer their leagues and may have tools to manage members, contests, trophy places and announcements. They are not our employees or agents merely because they run a league.

Schedules, participant availability and third-party results can change. Displayed information may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We may investigate irregularities, correct errors, recalculate results, reverse point adjustments, void affected entries or contests, and take other reasonable steps to maintain integrity. Subject to applicable law, our reasonable administration of the Service controls its records. No display or preliminary result is a promise of finality.

5. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

Subject to these Terms, you may use the Service for your personal, noncommercial entertainment. You may not cheat, manipulate results, exploit errors, interfere with others, harass or threaten people, submit unlawful content, send unsolicited invitations, misuse personal information, or infringe others’ rights.

You may not bypass access controls or limits, obtain accounts or data without authorization, introduce harmful code, disrupt infrastructure, or scrape or automate access without our permission except where the restriction is prohibited by law. Report suspected security issues through privacy@leagueplay.live without accessing other users’ data.

6. Content, feedback and third-party material

You retain any ownership you have in content you submit. You give us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display and distribute that content as reasonably needed to operate, maintain, support and improve the Service, including through our providers. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for that use. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may use feedback and suggestions without compensation or an obligation to implement them. Do not send confidential ideas you are unwilling to have used this way. Our software, branding and other materials remain owned by us or the applicable rights holders; no broader rights are granted.

Third-party content, links, names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement. We do not control third-party services, their accuracy or their availability.

7. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account closure through privacy@leagueplay.live. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms, misuse, security or legal concerns, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the Service, subject to applicable law. Records may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, liability limits and dispute provisions, survive termination.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not warrant that the Service or its information will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. No informal statement creates a warranty beyond what applicable law requires. These disclaimers do not exclude warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limits on liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE SAME EXTENT, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory asserted.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the extent the law allows. You retain nonwaivable rights and remedies.

10. Claims arising from your conduct

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us and our personnel against third-party claims and resulting damages, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, infringement of others’ rights, or material breach of these Terms. This does not cover liability caused by our own unlawful conduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you. We may manage the defense of a covered claim; no settlement may impose a nonmonetary obligation or admission on you without your consent.

11. U.S. law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent a nonwaivable law requires otherwise. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, disputes will be brought in state or federal courts in that state, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. This does not remove any right to use an eligible small-claims court.

Contact privacy@leagueplay.live with a description of a concern so it can be considered informally. Doing so is not a prerequisite that prevents a legally protected complaint or remedy. The Service is intended for a U.S. audience; we do not represent that it is appropriate or available elsewhere. Nothing here purports to override a law that legally applies and cannot be excluded by agreement.

12. Changes and general terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service changes. The effective date identifies the version. Updated terms apply prospectively, with notice and agreement where required. If you do not accept a required update, stop using the Service. A later version does not retroactively change rights in an existing dispute merely because it is posted.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it in connection with a business transfer or reorganization, subject to applicable law. These Terms and any expressly incorporated contest rules form the agreement regarding the Service, without limiting nonwaivable rights or overriding the Privacy Policy’s disclosures.
